2. Nature of Website & Use

2.1 FireDeck.uk is an information‑only brochure website. No prices are displayed and no purchases are made directly through the website.
2.2 Any information, guidance, technical advice, layout suggestions, or indicative quotations provided by Fire Deck are supplied in good faith and are based solely on the information you provide at the time.
2.3 It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify that all products, specifications, and quantities are correct and suitable for their intended use before placing any order with Fire Deck or its authorised distributors.
2.4 Fire Deck accepts no liability for decisions made based on website content, indicative advice, or preliminary guidance.

3. Product Information

3.1 Product descriptions, technical data, and images on the website are provided in good faith but may vary slightly from delivered goods.
3.2 It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the goods are suitable for their intended application.
3.3 All goods are subject to availability.

4. Pricing & Orders

4.1 As FireDeck.uk is a brochure‑only website, no pricing is displayed online.
4.2 Prices will be provided separately via quotation or through authorised distributors.
4.3 Orders are only accepted once confirmed in writing by Fire Deck or an authorised distributor.

5. Delivery & Risk

5.1 Delivery dates provided in quotations or communications are estimates only.
5.2 Risk passes to the buyer upon delivery to the buyer’s premises or nominated carrier.
5.3 Title to goods remains with Fire Deck (or its authorised distributor) until full payment is received.

6. RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

6.1 General

Refunds are granted entirely at the discretion of Fire Deck.

6.2 Eligibility

  • Only products in full, unopened, undamaged boxes will be considered for return.
  • The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return delivery of any goods.
  • Customers must contact Fire Deck in advance to register a return; unregistered returns will not be accepted.

6.3 Inspection & Restocking

  • Returned goods will be inspected upon arrival.
  • Where products are unused, undamaged, and in resalable condition, refunds may be issued minus a 25% restocking fee.
  • Refund values will be confirmed only after inspection of the returned goods.

6.4 Non‑Returnable Situations

Fire Deck will not accept returns where:

  • Goods have been opened, used, damaged, or are not in their original packaging.
  • Goods are returned due to over‑ordering or incorrect quantity calculations by the buyer or their advisors.

7. QUOTATIONS

7.1 Basis of Quotation

  • All quotations are prepared strictly based on the information, drawings, measurements, or specifications provided by the buyer.
  • Any information, advice, or quotations given are provided in good faith and based solely on the information supplied.

7.2 Buyer Responsibility

  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure all information supplied is accurate and complete.
  • By accepting a quotation, the buyer confirms that the quantities listed are correct.
  • If quantities are incorrect, the buyer must notify Fire Deck before placing an order.

7.3 Fire Deck Liability

Fire Deck will not accept liability for incorrect quantities where:

  • Requested drawings or documentation were not provided.
  • Finished floor heights or site conditions changed after the quotation was issued.
  • The buyer failed to review or verify the quotation details.

8. DISCLAIMER – Layout Plans & Quantity Calculations

  • Any layout plans, take‑offs, or quantity calculations produced by Fire Deck are estimates only.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the buyer (and their advisors/consultants) to confirm the exact quantities required for their project.
  • Fire Deck will not accept returns due to overestimating, nor will Fire Deck be liable for additional material or transport costs arising from underestimating.
  • By agreeing to a quotation, the buyer acknowledges they have reviewed and accepted that the quantities are correct.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 All website content, product descriptions, images, branding, and documentation remain the intellectual property of AB Building Products Ltd.
9.2 No content may be reproduced without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Fire Deck’s total liability for any claim arising out of the supply of goods or information shall not exceed the price paid for the goods in question.
10.2 Fire Deck is not liable for:

  • Loss of profit, revenue, or business
  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Costs arising from incorrect quantities, site changes, or installation issues
  • 10.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Force Majeure

Fire Deck is not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including supply chain disruption, transport delays, or natural events.

12. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Buyers confirm that any data provided is accurate and lawfully obtained.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
